-TUSCALOOSA AL- Angel Flight cordially invites you to their Tuscaloosa Branch Office Grand Opening & Fly In. You can be part of a Ribbon-Cutting Luncheon on Friday, June 11, 2010 11:30AM. On Saturday, June 12, Angel Flight is hosting a cookout and new pilot orientation from 11:00 to 2:00.
"We are very excited to announce that our first branch office in Alabama will be in Tuscaloosa, "says Jeanine Chambers Biron, Executive Director of Angel Flight. "And spearheading the efforts there will be long time Angel Flight Pilot Sonny Deason and Branch Director Art Ramey. Their enthusiasm in bringing this project to life is very gratifying and we know their dedication to our mission will help us connect to even more people who need our services throughout the state of Alabama and beyond."

Shortly after getting his plane, Deason saw information about
Angel Flight in a flight magazine. "I was always looking for excuses to get in my plane," he adds. "I thought this might just be a perfect reason. When I checked out their web site, I signed up right away and have been flying missions for them ever since. It's my way of giving back. I can utilize my skills, do something I love to do, and help people."

Angel Fight is a non-profit organization that provides free air transportation for people that have a medical need that can't be filled in their local area. Their services are available throughout Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee. They actively seek both new patients to serve and experienced pilots to fulfill missions.
