6/11/2010 - Cessna 2 OSH Formation Flight Clinic in Dothan
The Cessna Pilots Association has partnered with Cessna Corporation to conduct the 2010 mass arrival again this year. John Frank, founder and executive director of the Cessna Pilots Association, and his very capable staff, will again coordinate with the Experimental Aircraft Association's security and ground staff personnel for a seamless arrival. Pilots who wish to participate in the mass formation flight can attend the flight clinic at Flightline of Dothan. Cessna Corp is playing a major role again in this year's event, including sponsoring several components of post-arrival celebration at Cessna Base Camp and the recognition of Centurion owners and pilots with medals specially minted for the occasion.
2010 is the 50th anniversary of the venerable C210 Centurion. The first prototype of the Centurion was flown in 1957 but it was not until late in 1959 that Cessna announced the addition of the Centurion to the Cessna line of products with the introduction of the 1960 models. The Cessna Pilot's Association-CPA is extending a special invitation to every Centurion owner to join them in the 50th anniversary celebration of one of Cessna classics. It will be unforgettable!Last year's event was a total blast and the CPA want to build upon that experience moving forward to insure the continued success of the arrival and the celebration that follows in the North 40 for the entire week of AirVenture.
